Transcend Announces 512GB Solid State Drive with 260MB/s transfer speed

Transcend has just announced new solid state drives with up to 512GB capacities and 260MB/s of transfer speeds. The new 2.5″ SATA SSDs fully support the TRIM command, which is essential to maintain optimum write speeds, and also reduces long-term SSD wear. it also feature an upgraded controller chip that supports a maximum sequential transfer speed of 260MB/s read and 200 MB/s write.
This new Transcend 2.5″ SSDs currently available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities.

The drive comes with a sleek glossy white finish, rugged featuring a shock-absorbing technology and suspension system that helps prevent damage caused by accidental slips or falls during travel.
Transcend StoreJet 25D2-W offers 500GB of storage capacity, a USB 2.0 interface, an 8MB of buffer memory and bundled with Transcend’s own StoreJet Elite software that offers intelligent backup scheduling, internet tools and 256-bit AES encryption.

The Transcend aXeRam 6GB DDR3-2000 triple-channel has three 2GB modules at 2000MHz with timings of 9-9-9-24, offering memory bandwidth up to an incredible 48GB/s—an increase of 35% compared to standard 1333MHz memory and an operating voltage at just 1.6V, While the aXeRam 4GB DDR3-1600 dual-channel kits comes with two DDR3 1600MHz modules, timings of 8-8-8-24 and 1.6V operating voltage.

Transcend introduces the latest type of external hard drive called StoreJet 25D3. This device uses the USB 3.0 port that provides faster data transfer speed that is 5GB per second. The external hard drive has bigger space compare with other brands. The device uses the shock dampening system that will perfectly protect the device from shocks. The system uses the high suspension technology.
Transcend StoreJet 25D3 features 5400RPM spindle speed, 8MB buffer, Multicolor LED indicator light, Power saving sleep mode and support for 256-bit AES files and folder encryption, it curently available in 500GB capacity.
