Intel releases new 11 Desktop and 5 Mobile CPUs

Intel has just released more Core, Pentium and Celeron processors along with its price tags and specifications including 16 new 32nm models for both mobile and desktop PC. The celeron processors go from $37 to $52, then the ‘highest-end’ 3.0 GHz Core i5-2320 is priced at $177. Meanwhile, five mobile CPUs prices range from $86 (Celeron B840) to $1096 (2.7 GHz Core i72960XM). See the details from the image below.

AMD Athlon X4 631 Quad-core Processor Pricing Unveiled

AMD has just unveiled the pricing info of their new Athlon family processor, the AMD Athlon X4 631 Quad-core which is priced at $79. Manufactured using 32nm process technology, the Athlon X4 631 boasts a clock speed of 2.60GHz, 4 x 1MB L2 cache, TDP of 100W and comes in socket FM1 package. Unfortunately, we can’t get any info on this quad-core processors’s release date, but we”l keep you update.

AMD A6-3650 and A8-3850 APUs for Desktops

AMD has just introduced two new chips of Fusion A-Series APUs for desktop, the AMD A6-3650 and A8-3850. Both are quad-core chips featuring 320 Radeon cores/400 Radeon cores and provide DirectX-11 compliant graphics.

The AMD A8-3850 supports DDR3-1886 memory, has 4MB L2 cache, 2.9GHz core clock, 600MHz GPU clock and a TDP of 100W. Meanwhile, the AMD A6-3650 support for DDR3-1866 memory, comes feature with 4MB L2 cache, 2.6GHz processor clock, 443MHz GPU clock and a TDP of 100W.

VIA Unveils the Nano X2 E-Series Dual Core Processors

VIA has just unveiled their new series of Nano family, the Nano X2 E-Series which available in two models running at speeds of 1.2+ GHz and 1.6+ GHz. The company via its press release announced that this new series will be available in Q2 2011. The new VIA’ processors are based on 40nm manufacturing process using a VIA NanoBGA2 package of 21mm x 21mm with a die size of 11mm x 6mm. Nano X2 E-Series also features VIA VT virtualization and VIA AES Security Engine for hardware-based data encryption.

Intel Z68 Chipset Launches in May

Intel Z68 Chipset is said to be the manufacturer’s best LGA 1155 chipset, which was previously officially announced; yet, the release date should wait. Recently, Intel confirmed that Intel Z68 Chipset will be available and officially release on May this year; the more precise information mentioned that this chipset is going to be available on Sunday May 8th.
