Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 2 which is based on the 2.6.35-6.7 Linux kernel has been released and now is available to download (Desktop, Server, Netbook, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc) from this page.

The second alpha version of ubuntu 10.10 comes with GNOME 2.31,  Qt 4.7 beta, KDE 4.5 RC1, new cloud-init features, a redesigned Ubuntu Software Center and support for the btrfs file system.
