The 11.6- inch notebook is based on the platform nile from AMD company with AMD Neo mobile processors with dual-core options (Athlon II Neo k125 (one core, 1.7 GHz) or K325 (two cores, 1.3 GHz)) and Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
HP Pavilion dm1z features ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics, 2GB DDR3 memory (expandable up to 5GB), 500GB hard drive or 128GB SSD, Bluetooth, webcam and 6-cell battery.
ASRock Introduces the P55 Extreme4

ASRock P55 Extreme4 is the upcoming ASRock’s motherboard which based on Intel’s P55 chipset and support for LGA 1156 processors.
The board comes with four DDR3-2600 memory slots, six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, four SATA 6.0 Gbps, two PCI-Express x16 slots (SLI and CrossFireX ready), 7.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and both rear (back panel) and front (via an adapter) USB 3.0 connectors. Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 2 which is based on the 2.6.35-6.7 Linux kernel has been released and now is available to download (Desktop, Server, Netbook, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc) from this page.
The second alpha version of ubuntu 10.10 comes with GNOME 2.31, Qt 4.7 beta, KDE 4.5 RC1, new cloud-init features, a redesigned Ubuntu Software Center and support for the btrfs file system.
