Biostar has announced the TPower X79 motherboard, which is based on X79 chipset and supports Intel’s upcoming platform. Spec-wise, the Biostar TPower X79 comes with all-passive cooling system, three PCI-Express x16 slots enabling SLI or CrossFireX setups, four DDR3-2400 memory slots, six USB 3.0 ports (plus two via a header) and seven SATA ports (six are 6.0 Gbps, the single red one is 3.0 Gbps).
Biostar TPower X79 also features a debug LED, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, and an eSATA connector. No pricing info so far, but it expect to become available in the next few weeks.
