LG LSM-100 Mouse with built-in Scanner
LG set to launch an unique mouse that doubles as a handheld scanner called the LG LSM-100 for European market later this month for $150. Yes, its not an ordinary mouse, with a a built-in scanner this mouse has ability to scan page sizes of up to A3 size, featuring a Smart Scan button on its left side that allow the user to swipe the mouse over the material to be scanned.
LG LSM-100 also features the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to convert scanned text into editable text within a Microsoft Word document, and upgraded scanning technology to handle faster pass-over rates for speedier scanning. Scanned images can be saved in PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XLS or DOC format, or dragged and dropped into the desired application.
