Hitachi CinemaStar C5K750 And 5K2000 HDD Starts Shipping
Hitachi GST company has begun shipping their new CinemaStar family Hard disk drives, the CinemaStar C5K750 and 5K2000. Both HDD are optimized for IPTV set-top-box (STB), video surveillance, digital video recorder (DVR) and emerging hard drive-embedded TV markets. The CinemaStar C5K750 available in 750GB, 640GB and 500GB of storage capacities while the CinemaStar 5K2000 comes in 1.5TB and 2TB of storage capacities.
The 3.5-inch CinemaStar 5K2000 HDD offers the CoolSpin technology to deliver a greater level of power efficiency, quiet operation for energy-conscious and environmentally-friendly computers. With such a huge storage capacity, this drive allow users to store 1,000 more standard videos or 250 more HD videos than the previous generation 1TB CinemaStar drives.
