Transcend has just announced new solid state drives with up to 512GB capacities and 260MB/s of transfer speeds. The new 2.5″ SATA SSDs fully support the TRIM command, which is essential to maintain optimum write speeds, and also reduces long-term SSD wear. it also feature an upgraded controller chip that supports a maximum sequential transfer speed of 260MB/s read and 200 MB/s write.

This new Transcend 2.5″ SSDs currently available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities.
