Kingston Announces The DataTraveler 4000 and DataTraveler Vault Flash Drives

Kingston today presented two new secure USB flash drives, The DataTraveler 4000 and the DataTraveler Vault – Privacy Managed. Both featuring 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption. Kingston DataTraveler Vault is built to fully protect even the most sensitive corporate data. it comes with BlockMaster’s SafeConsole management software and has data transfer rates of up to 24MB/s read and 10MB/s write. the DataTraveler Vault – Privacy Managed available from 2GB to 32GB capacities.

Meanwhile, The DataTraveler 4000 supports FIPS 140-2 Level 2 military-grade encryption for the entire cryptographic module as opposed to just the security processor. This model has data transfer speed up to 18MB/s read and 10MB/s write. Kingston DataTraveler 4000 available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB storage capacities.
