Kingston DataTraveler 6000 secure flash drive Unveiled
Kingston Digital has just unveiled a new highly-secure flash drive called the DataTraveler 6000. Available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models, these drives comes with a tamper-proof and water-proof titanium-coated stainless steel casing with USB 2.0 interface delivering read/write speeds of up to 11/5 MB/s.
The Kingston DataTraveler 6000 features Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 Level 3-grade data protection and 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption using an XTS block cipher mode. Its price ranging from $100 to $208 with a five-year warranty.
